Timers
A countdown timer counts from a duration you choose down to zero and alerts you when it ends — useful for cooking, studying, workouts, presentations and screen-time limits. Presets cover the most common lengths from one minute to one hour.
World clock
Check the current time in cities around the world, with the date, UTC offset and whether it is day or night there before you call or message someone.
Time zone converter
Pick a date and time in one city and see the matching local time in another. Daylight saving is handled for you, including dates where only one of the two cities has changed.
Time difference calculator
Compare two locations and see exactly how many hours and minutes separate them, on today's date or any other date you choose.
Pomodoro timer
The Pomodoro technique splits work into 25 minute sessions with 5 minute breaks and a longer break after four sessions, which makes long tasks easier to start and finish.
Privacy first
Timers, clocks and calculations run on your device. Preferences are stored locally, and no account or personal information is ever required.

Frequently asked questions
- Do I need an account to use Global Timeline?
- No. Every timer, clock and calculator runs in your browser. There is no sign-up, no email and nothing to install.
- Does the timer keep accurate time in a background tab?
- Yes. The remaining time is calculated from real timestamps rather than by counting ticks, so the countdown ends at the right moment even if your browser slows background tabs down.
- Are time zones correct during daylight saving?
- Yes. All conversions use your device's IANA time zone database, so offsets follow real daylight saving rules instead of fixed numbers.
- Is my data private?
- Your settings, saved cities and countdowns stay on your device in local storage. We do not send what you time to a server.
